Food Heroes Adventure is a one-of-a-kind kids’ activity package to make kids learn about the basics of food, its importance for life, and the road to building a healthy lifestyle by choosing the right food for themselves.

Why Food?

• All the children need the ability to make choices about food which support health, community, and the environment.
• Kids need to understand yet nurture food beginning at early stages of life.
• Through food, they can question, get curious, and practice skills yet express their thoughts independently.
• They are the heroes who will fight against food waste and create a more sustainable life.
• Once they are introduced to the journey of food, ingredients and their place in cultures, they can build a more sustainable relationship with food for a healthier and happier life.
• This journey will lead them to understand the resources and energy spent for each ingredient and yet is accessible by all equally.
• A single ingredient can lead kids to understand various other disciplines, like math, science, history, and social sciences.
• Therefore, we must help children build better relations with food and its sources. Because that’s the only future!

How do we combine them all?

• We combine the above with games, physical activities, world discoveries, and character role-plays.

What is included in the activities?

• 2 hours of learning - food, ingredients, nature - through games and demonstrations
• Awareness session about food waste & inequality

• Recipe of the day-prep / cooking
• Blind sensing/tasting

This event is designed for kids aged between 3 to 10. Parents of toddlers are more than welcome to join.

Children will do the below discovery activities:

• How do countries fill up their breakfast plates?
• Journey of Food Showcase
• How can we help the world with food?
• World Music of Food

Ingredient Hunting Game:

• Two separate teams, single recipe
• Various ingredients are to be displayed in boxes/baskets hidden in the garden
• The team aims to guess and collect the ingredients required for the recipe
• Let’s talk about the recipe to make at home!

Go-Grow-Glow Sticker Game:

• After talking about the kind of food groups that makes us GO, GROW & GLOW
• Our young foodies wearing GO, GROW & GLOW t-shirts at their back will be ready for BAM
• Two teams -  green & red will be given various food stickers
• And when the time starts, each team member will stick the relevant food on the backs of our young foodies

Blind Sensing Game:

• Each team member will close their eyes with a sleeping mask
• Then each team member will be given a fruit or vegetable to touch and smell
• Meanwhile, young foodies will share clues about where they grow, their uses etc.
• The points will be collected
• Unknown fruits and vegetables will be talked about

Our Food Heroes Adventure package is a fun and educational activity for kids aged 3 to 10. Through games, physical activities, and world discoveries, children will learn about making healthy and sustainable food choices. With a mini fresh-market, recipe of the day, and blind sensing game, this package is the perfect way to introduce your child to the world of food in a fun and engaging way.

• The price is eligible for Dubai only. Transportation charges will apply for events in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. You can get in touch with our team for details.
• The activity is available for maximum 15 kids. If there is more than 15 kids, the activity will not be productive and effective, hence we will not be performing the activity for more than 15 kids.
• There is an add-on for live cooking as an additional activity for this package. You can add it to your package if you want to include cooking as an additional activity for AED375.
