Refund Policy

Refunds for specific situations are automatically given, and others are granted on a case-by-case basis. In light of the circumstances, all case-by-case refunds are made at www.handleforme.com's sole discretion. Refunds are always subject to our Terms of Conditions. And, in the case of any conflict between this article and the Terms of Conditions governed.

FOR CUSTOMERS WHO ARE PURCHASING SERVICES ON HANDLEFORME

Automatic refunds

Customers have the right to cancel an event a maximum of 48 hours before the event start date & time. We will fully refund your payment through the Original Mode of Payment.

Any event that the customer cancels within 48 hours before the event start time is non-refundable on Handleforme. Even if the user would like to re-schedule the event, the paid amount will not be refunded to protect the Handler (s)' rights and business. We have this policy because Handlers set aside time and materials and turn down other work to help you with your event.

As Handleforme, we facilitate your service requirements with our Handlers. Once the event is complete and services are fully finished, the Fees you pay to our Handlers are non-refundable (unless there is a Handler-caused violation). The Company may update the pricing scheme on a going-forward basis. You are liable for any and all taxes (except taxes based on our income).

If the Handler cancels the job, or the cancellation is the fault of the Handler, you will get a full refund through the Original Mode of Payment.

How can you re-schedule a job on Handleforme?

You might change your plans and have to re-schedule a job to another date & time based on the Handler's availability. In these cases, Handleforme checks the Handler's availability for the new date & time. If the Handler agrees on the new date &time with the same job amount, Handleforme confirms the re-schedule of the job without any additional payment.

If the re-schedule request is received within 48 hours before the event start date & time, the Handler has the right to calculate any service fee based on the preparation by prooving the amount spent to Handleforme. In such a case, Handler has the right to request the additional payment from the customer to re-schedule the service on a new date & time.

Can a customer edit the job details after booking the job?

The customer can only edit the job details based on Handler's availability. There will not be any refund for editing the job details once the customer books the job. If the edits require additional services, Handleforme requests another quotation from the Handler, and the customer pays the extra amount to book the additional services.

Case-by-case refunds

We require a review of the situation for all other circumstances before a refund decision can be made. We review the reason for the customer's dispute and the details you submit with your request. We don't give refunds based on performance or return on investment. Any refunds must be requested within 24hrs of the charge. We might issue a refund for the following situations:

The Handler is late for the job, and this is significantly impacting your event. On the event date, if the Handler is late for the agreed time of the event, the customer must immediately inform Handleforme about the issue. After investigation, if Handleforme decides on the subject and the impact on the event, the customer will get a full refund for the service.

If the Handler is not meeting the expectations for the requested service, the customer should send evidence through pictures and videos to contactus@handleforme.com or the Handleforme Whatsapp Business account to prove the issue. After investigation, if Handleforme decides on the subject and the impact on the event, the customer will get a refund for the service. The refund amount will be subject to investigation.

FOR HANDLERS WHO ARE PROVIDING SERVICES THROUGH HANDLERFORME

Automatic refunds

In some circumstances, we will automatically issue a refund to your handleforme account. They include:

  • Booking Protection: Customers have the right to cancel an event 48 hours before the event start date & time. Any event that the customer cancels within 48 hours before the event start time is non-refundable on Handleforme. Even if the user would like to re-schedule the event, the paid amount will not be refunded to protect the Handler (s)' rights and business. We have this policy because Handlers set aside time and materials and turn down other work to help the customer. Handleforme will pay the job amount to the Handler.

Lead Fee Refund Process:

  • The job changed significantly. If a customer contacts you about a job drastically different from the original lead and you cannot execute the requested job because of your speciality.

  • The job is unreasonable. If you were contacted by a customer who needs something you can't reasonably accommodate or do, you may request a refund.

For your refund request, you may send an email to contactus@handleforme.com, and we will try our best to resolve it.

Under the Terms of Conditions, you agree to refunds being provided in the same way handleforme credit for future leads. This is also to help minimize the number of banking transactions. We cannot refund any remaining balance to your bank account if you close your Handleforme account. You can use your remaining balance on leads before you close your account.
